Terms of Service

1. Who these terms apply to

These terms govern the purchase of design packages and services from like-design (1815 Rue Nationale, 59194 Râches, France) through like-design.com, and apply to both business and consumer buyers, in France and elsewhere.

2. What we sell

like-design sells fixed-price design packages across six services — Website Design, E-commerce Design, Website Redesign, Branding & Identity, UI/UX Design, and Design Care (a recurring subscription) — as described on /pricing/ and each package's detail page. Prices are shown HT (excluding VAT); TVA at 20% is added at checkout for applicable orders. Bespoke work outside these packages is quoted individually via the contact form and agreed in writing before it begins.

3. Ordering

An order is placed by adding a package (and any add-ons) to the cart and completing checkout: contact & company details, a project brief, payment, and a final review with the required consent checkboxes. An order is confirmed once you reach the confirmation page and receive your order reference. The checkout's payment step is currently a demonstration — see the notice on the payment page.

4. Delivery

Turnaround windows are stated per package and begin once the discovery step is complete (not the date of payment). Design Care operates as a running request queue rather than a single delivery date, per its own turnaround terms.

5. Revisions

Each package includes a stated number of revision rounds. Additional rounds beyond that number are quoted and agreed before they begin.

6. Intellectual property & ownership

Full ownership of the final deliverables, including source files, transfers to you on receipt of final payment for the relevant package. Until final payment is received, all design work remains the intellectual property of like-design.

7. Client obligations

You agree to provide the information, assets, and feedback needed to complete the project (per the project-brief step and the process described at /process/) in a timely way. Delayed feedback may shift the delivery date beyond the stated turnaround window.

9. Liability

like-design's liability for any claim relating to a package is limited to the amount paid for that package, except where liability cannot be limited under French law (for example, in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct).

10. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

11. Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by French law. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, consumers based in the EU may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr) or an approved French consumer mediator. Absent another resolution, disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
