Refund & Cancellation Policy

Your right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you're a consumer based in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from an order within 14 days of purchase, without giving a reason, in line with EU distance-selling rules. Because our services are digital design work that often begins shortly after purchase, we ask you to confirm at checkout (Review step) that you understand work may start before the 14 days end, and that you expressly request this. If you don't tick that acknowledgement, we won't begin work until the 14-day period has passed.

Once work has begun

If you've asked us to start before the 14-day period ends, and you then withdraw, we refund the value of any project phase that hasn't yet been delivered, on a pro-rata basis against the package price. Any phase that has already been delivered (for example, a completed Discovery or Direction phase per /process/) is not refundable, since that work has been performed at your request.

Deposits and started work

Once the discovery phase of a project has been delivered, any deposit or payment made for that phase is non-refundable, reflecting the work already completed.

Cancelling a one-off package

To cancel a one-off package, email support@like-design.com as early as possible. Refunds follow the pro-rata terms above based on how far the project has progressed.

Cancelling Design Care

Design Care has no lock-in. Cancel any time before your next billing date and you won't be charged again — there's no notice period and no cancellation fee. Amounts already billed for the current period aren't refunded, since that period's queue capacity has already been made available to you.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Note that the site's payment step is currently a demonstration (see Terms of Service); no real charge is taken, so no real refund is processed under the current setup.
